Earthquake in Nepal Of Magnitude 5.6

Nepal: Earthquake of magnitude 5.5 hit Nepal’s Kathmandu on Sunday with tremors have been felt in many districts of Bihar. Panic has spread among the people due to this earthquake.

The earthquake occurred at 07:58 am (IST) on July 31 at around 147 km East Southeast of Kathmandu at a depth of 10 km, according to the India’s National Center for Seismology. People ran out of their homes in fear.

The tremors of the earthquake have been felt in many districts of Bihar, including Patna, Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur, Begusarai, Katihar, Kishanganj.

The tremors were also felt in some other parts of India including in Sikkim and West Bengal towns Kalimpong, Darjeeling and Silliguri.

People have been shocked by the tremors of the earthquake. There is an atmosphere of panic among the people. People have left the house out of fear.
