Make Mala Roy successful to strengthen Mamata Banerjee’s hand: MA Ali

Kolkata: TMC has once again given ticket to Mala Roy from ward number 88 on ongoing Kolkata Municipal Corporation election. Mala Roy has been the councilor of this ward even before this. International coach and former karate world champion MA Ali has appealed to the voters of Ward 88 to make Mala Roy victorious again. MA Ali said that to strengthen the hand of Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee, it is necessary to make Mala Roy successful again. He said that Mala Roy is very close to Mamta Banerjee, that’s why she has made Mala Roy MP from her South Kolkata Lok Sabha seat. Mala Roy has also been the MIC and chairperson of Kolkata Municipal Corporation. Despite assuming so much responsibility and being extremely popular, even today she lives the life of an ordinary woman. Mala Roy is an educated politician, who is always involved in the misery and happiness of the common people. It is very important for the society to have educated, honest and decent people like her in politics.

MA Ali said that I still remember the days when Mala Roy, despite being the councilor of ward number 88 and MIC of Kolkata Municipal Corporation, used to come to my karate class every day to teach karate to her daughter. For five years, she used to come to my karate classes every day. She did not have the slightest ego that she was a popular politician. The biggest thing is that despite becoming an MP and being close to Mamta Banerjee, there has been no change in Mala Roy. Even today she is as friendly and helpful as before. That’s why I appeal to the voters of Ward 88 to make Mala Roy successful with huge margin.
