A policeman accused of harassing a single woman, arrested in a false case for not paying bribe

Kolkata: Police is there to protect the people. It is the duty of every policeman to follow the law, but when a policeman starts torturing innocent people, then to whom will the common people go with their complaints? Similarly, Shamshad Nawazish Khan, resident of Ekta Flora Apartment on Christopher Road, Kolkata, has accused a policeman of arresting him by implicating him in a false case. This woman s now appealing to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for help. Shamshad Nawazish Khan has 90 decimal land in Gurap of Hooghly district, which is being eyed by her neighbour. To grab that land, the man had filed a false case against Shamshad Nawazish Khan four months ago.

In the same case, today the police of Gurap police station reached Kolkata and arrested Shamshad Nawazish Khan from her flat. Shamshad Nawazish Khan alleges that Gurap police station officer Tamal Chatterjee has a hand in this entire matter. Who had asked hem for six lakh rupees to hush up the matter, when she refused to give the money, Tamal Chatterjee filed another false case and arrested her. She was arrested on Saturday afternoon for harassing her. So that they are kept in the police station jail for two days without being produced in the court. Shamshad Nawazish Khan said that she is a single woman. Therefore, efforts are being made to capture her land by harassing and threatening them.

Tamal Chatterjee is completely involved in this conspiracy. Shamshad Nawazish Khan said that she has confidence in Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Mamata Banerjee is also a woman. She will definitely get them justice. She wants that Gurap police station officer Tamal Chatterjee, who is harassing her, should be punished.
