Annual Urs of Hazrat Khwaja Ghulam Kibria Al Chishti celebrated with great pomp

Kolkata: The 28th annual Urs of Hazrat Khwaja Ghulam Kibria Al Chishti was celebrated with great reverence. On this occasion, followers of Hazrat Khwaja Ghulam Kibria Al Chishti from all over the country including Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai had gathered at Chanchua Darbar Sharif of Murshidabad. In which people of all religions were involved.

The annual Urs of Hazrat Khwaja Ghulam Kibariya Al Chishti was held on the first day of Ramadan. Therefore, complete arrangements were made for Iftar in Darbar Sharif. After Iftar, Quran Pak was recited. Milad was organized. After this people were told about the life of Hazrat Khwaja Ghulam Kibria Al Chishti. The message of peace and love was given to the devotees.

Langar was organized on this auspicious occasion of Urs. Where people of all religions sit together and eat. Arrangements were also made there for the stay of the devotees who came from different parts of the country. The whole arrangement was free. Didn’t take a single rupee from anyone. Whereas in other places Nazrana is taken.

On this occasion Hazrat Najibur Rahman Chishti, Gaddinashin of Hazrat Khwaja Ghulam Kibria Al Chishti said that we all should follow the path which brings peace and prosperity in life. Giving examples from the life of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad, he said that instead of panic in times of trouble, be patient. God will definitely help.

To attend the annual Urs of Hazrat Khwaja Ghulam Kibria Al Chishti, the procession led by his four khalifas reached Darbar Sharif from different places. A large group of devotees led by Hazrat Mohammad Akhtar Ali Chishti and Hazrat Zafir Ali Chishti from Kolkata, Hazrat Sanib Rehman Chishti from Delhi, Hazrat Zikaria Chishti from Murshidabad had reached Darbar Sharif. After Taraweeh, an overnight gathering was organized. Devotees said that no one ever returned empty handed from the court of Hazrat Khwaja Ghulam Kibria Al Chishti. Everyone’s noble intentions are fulfilled here.
