Fayaz Ahmed Khan is ready to wave the red flag again on Ward 75
Kolkata: CPIM has once again fielded its heavyweight leader Faiyaz Ahmed Khan from ward number 75 for Kolkata Municipal Corporation election. Faiyaz Ahmed Khan has previously been a councilor of this ward three times.
Later, he was not given ticket due to the ward number 75 being reserved for women, but this time the party has reposed faith in him. Here he is in direct competition with TMC candidate Nizamuddin Shamsh. But Faiyaz Ahmed Khan is very sure that on the basis of the work he has done for the progress of the ward for 15 years, the voters will make him successful again. Faiyaz Ahmed Khan says that the people of this ward know his work. So TMC did not get any candidate from here. Due to which TMC fielded a candidate from outside the ward. He alleged that some people coming from outside are trying to spoil the atmosphere of the area. Their posters and banners are being torn down. But he has asked his workers to be patient. They have been advised to avoid spoiling the atmosphere. Faiyaz Ahmed Khan said that tearing posters and banners will not harm him, as he has made his place in the hearts of the people. From where no one can take him out.
