HRH Prince Dr. M.A. Ali Congratulates Students of Kolkata Public English School on Yellow Belt Success
Kolkata: Asgar Ali Khan, Director and Founder of Kolkata Public English School, along with HRH Prince Dr. M.A. Ali, Director of the World Meet Thailand, Indonesia, and UK, congratulated the students of Kolkata Public English School for successfully passing their Yellow Belt Examination in Karate.

Several students received double promotion to Orange Belt, and a few were provisionally selected to represent India at the 8th World Meet 2026, scheduled to be held on 28th May 2026 at the Royal Thai Army Club, Bangkok, Thailand.

Tony Taylor, Vice President of the World Meet (USA), expressed his admiration, saying,
“I am proud of Kolkata Public English School. If I ever visit India, I would love to visit this school in Kolkata.”
Speaking to the media on the examination day, HRH Prince Dr. M.A. Ali praised the institution, stating,
“This is the only school in North Kolkata providing free martial arts and karate training up to Black Belt, while many other schools charge fees. The school administration is doing a wonderful job, and I believe the day is not far when every student of Kolkata Public English School will earn a Black Belt.”

Erum Seraj, five-time international gold medalist and Chief Examiner for the event, highlighted the importance of martial arts in education. She said,
“Martial arts training keeps the body and mind fit. It teaches students discipline and self-defense. Every girl should learn martial arts.”
