Some want to see her become the Prime Minister, while some wish that Mamata Banerjee should be given Bharat Ratna, the country’s biggest award. In their eyes, there is no biggest secular leader in this country than Mamata Banerjee. One of them is Maulana Shafiq Qasmi, the Imam of Kolkata’s famous Nakhuda Masjid, whose heartfelt desire is to see Mamata Banerjee sitting on the Prime Minister’s chair. In connection with the Imam Muezzin Conference to be held on Monday, August 21, the All India Minority Forum today organised a press conference at Kolkata Press Club.
