In view of these circumstances, international karate coach and champion MA Ali has called upon all the women of the country to learn karate for self-defense.
MA Ali, who has been giving free karate training to women in Kolkata for the last 9 years, organized a special training camp today. Along with this, the test of children who were learning karate in this camp was also taken.
Mukhtar Ali, general secretary of TMC Minority Cell, who attended the programme as the chief guest, said that the dedication and hard work with which MA Ali is giving training in karate to women. That’s an example. I want that Karate, the best weapon of self-defense, should also be included in the school curriculum. He also assured to talk to the state government in this regard.
On this occasion, MA Ali said that whenever there is a riot or uproar, women are the most affected by it. Women have to protect themselves as well as their homes and children. That’s why I want all the women of the country to learn karate and protect themselves. MA Ali said that our karate classes are open to women of all religions.
Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian women of all religions are taking Karate training here. Karate is a sport as well as a weapon of self-defense. In which there is no discrimination of any kind.

Raees Alam is an ex student of international karate coach and champion MA Ali. He shared his experience with the children and inspired them. Karate World Champion Ayesha Noor, Karate Champion Rajiv Rajbhar from Varanasi, Debash Kumar Acharya, Shailen Pal, Mahadev Bor and Mushtar Ali were also present on this occasion.
