
Jayashree Sengupta to Receive Thailand International Award at 7th World Meet in Bangkok
Kolkata: Renowned artist Jayashree Sengupta is set to be honored with a Thailand International Award at the upcoming 7th World Meet 2025, scheduled to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 8th. She has been recognized for her exceptional contributions to cultural arts and performance.
Earlier, at the 6th World Meet in Jakarta, Indonesia, Jayashree Sengupta had captivated audiences with her breathtaking cultural performance, earning widespread praise from royal dignitaries, international officials, and participants. She also had the distinct honor of performing during His Majesty King Sany Wijaya Natakusuma’s birthday celebration at the Cirebon Palace, where her artistry was highly appreciated.
The World Meet, organized by the World Martial Artist Council under the direction of HRH Prince Dr. M.A. Ali, is a prestigious global gathering that promotes peace, humanity, and cultural unity. The 6th edition saw participation from over 50 countries, including the USA, UK, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Argentina, Italy, Singapore, Malaysia, and many others.
