MA Ali wishes speedy recovery of senior TMC leader Arun Das
Kolkata: TMC leader Arun Das has been councilor of Ward 55 since 1985. At present he is ill, due to which he is not contesting the elections. In his place, TMC has given ticket to his wife Sabitarani Das. Due to poor health, Arun Das is not able to participate in the election campaign of his wife, but he is deciding the strategy of his wife’s election campaign from home. International coach and former Karate World Champion MA Ali met veteran leader Arun Das at his home today. MA Ali was accompanied by many students of his karate class. MA Ali wished Arun Das a speedy recovery and said that Arun Das alias Bishu Da has helped thousands of people through his long political career.
He has always been with the people in happiness and sorrow. Due to which his wife Sabitarani Das is also getting tremendous support from the people in the election campaign. MA Ali said that it is the wish of all of us that Bishu Da should get well soon and once again work for the betterment of the common people. Speaking on the occasion, veteran TMC leader Arun Das said that he was delighted to meet MA Ali and his team. He pray that these children, who are learning karate, should later illuminate the name of the country.
