Kolkata: After winning for the second consecutive term from Ward 62 in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation elections, the status of TMC’s youth leader Sana Ahmed has increased. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has appointed her as the chairperson of Boro 6.
Political experts believe that by appointing Sana Ahmed as the chairperson of Boro 6, Mamta Banerjee has expressed confidence in her ability. Sana Ahmed is getting constant congratulations and best wishes on being appointed as the chairperson of Boro 6.
International coach and champion MA Ali has congratulated Sana Ahmed on being appointed as the chairperson of Boro 6. Significantly, Sana Ahmed used to learn karate from MA Ali in her school life. Just as she was a great player in karate, in the same way she has emerged as a warrior in the field of politics. Seeing her karate teacher in front brought back old memories of Sana Ahmed.
Significantly, Sana Ahmed belongs to a reputed political family of West Bengal. Her uncle late Sultan Ahmed was a TMC MP and a minister in Dr Manmohan Singh Govt. Prior to Sana Ahmed, her father Iqbal Ahmed was a councilor of Ward 62 for decades. He was also the Deputy Mayor of Kolkata Municipal Corporation and MLA. At present, her aunt Sajda Ahmed is a TMC MP from Uluberia. Sana Ahmed is taking forward the political legacy of her family in a splendid way.
