Adv. Yusuf Abrahani, former MLA and President, Islam Gymkhana and a special guest at the event, said “Association of Muslim Professionals has really grown by leaps and bounds. They started with a bunch of highly-motivated individuals but within a decade and half have spread their footprint nationally and globally. It is mainly due to the focus they have maintained in Education and Empowerment. I wish them well for the 3rd edition of their National Talent Search competition.”

Aamir Edresy, President – AMP while conveying his gratitude to all the dignitaries and educationists present on the occasion said in his inaugural talk “I am overwhelmed by all the love and support given by the guests present here. AMP’s main focus has been to make Indian Muslim Community educationally advanced and socially progressive. Our share in the highest educational institutions of the Country is negligible and we would like the entire community to seriously take up the challenge of increasing this representation to more than our population percentage. AMP’s NTS is a small step in that direction and we need the help of all the educational institutions to wholeheartedly support this initiative.”

Amin Patel, MLA from Mumbai and a longtime patron of AMP said “I remember when Aamir Edresy had contacted me for doing the AMP Career Fest in Mumbai for the very 1st time in 2008, I saw a spark in the young lad and wholeheartedly supported him. Since then, they have gone on to do many high-impact programmes across the Country and the National Talent Search is a highly admirable one.”

Ali M Shamsi, Noted Banker and Social Activist, who attended an event after couple of years due to covid, said “Am really amazed by what has been achieved by Aamir Edresy and his team. The great work achieved by AMP is laudable as I see sincerity and pure intention to serve the Community. In my entire life-span of 7 decades, I have rarely come across this kind of passion and perseverance.”

Suhail Khandwani, Chairman – Khandwani Group of Cos. and Managing Trustee – Haji Ali & Mahim Dargah Trust said that he has been very impressed by the vision of Aamir Edresy, President of AMP and the excellent work done by AMP is the twin fields of Education and Employment Assistance. He further added that AMP’s NTS is an initiative in the right direction and will help in the discovery and development of the Community’s latent talent to come to the fore and bring laurels in the national competitive exams.
