More than 2000 Candidates selected & shortlisted at Mega Job Fairs

Kolkata: Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) organized mega Job Fairs in Chennai and Hyderbad in association with The New College, Chennai and NSAK College of Engineering & Technolgy, Hyderabad, which was a huge success.

There was a massive response to the Job Fairs as more than 4000 Candidates turned up. More than 150 Corporates and Recruiters from across various industries participated in these Job Fairs with more than 20,000 plus vacancies available for jobless candidates. At the end of the day more tan 850 Candidates were Selected and more than 1200 were Shortlisted for the next round of interviews.

The Job Fairs were conducted at The New College ( Autonomous), Royapettah, Chennai and Nawab Shah Alam Khan College of Engineering and Technology of Hyderabad , to help unemployed youths to get placed in reputed mainstream Corporates and to provide opportunities to the needy without any discrimination of Caste, Community and Creed.

S. Peter Alphonse, Chairman, State Minority Commission, Tamilnadu, was the Chief Guest at the event. He was quite pleased to see the arrangements at the Job Fair venue and commended efforts of AMP & The New College for providing job opportunities to the youth. He said that the AMP Job Fair is doing a great service to humanity by providing much needed job opportunities to the needy youth of Tamil Nadu.

On this occasion Mr. Sajjad Parvez, AMP South Zone Head and the Chief Architect of the Job Fairs was quite elated that his efforts bore fruit and that AMP was helping needy youths support their families through the job opportunities provided at the Job Fair. He commended the team.

The event was backed by very strong support from local AMP Chapter teams, The New College, Chennai & Nawab Shah Alam Khan College, Hyderabad and their entire team of volunteers who helped in Registration, Screening, Corporate & Queue Management. The Police personnel managed the crowd and traffic admirably.
