More than 700 Candidates selected & shortlisted out of 1500 at Mega Job Fair in Bangalore
Bengaluru: Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) organized a mega Job Fair in Bangalore today in association with Presidency Foundation which was a huge success.
There was a great response to the Job fair as more than 1500 Candidates turned up. More than 70 Corporates and Recruiters from across various industries participated in this Job Fair with more than 10,000+ vacancies available for jobless youths. At the end of the daymore than 700 Candidates were Selected and Shortlisted.
The Job fair were conducted at Karnataka Public School, Devara Jeevanahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560045., to help unemployed youths to get placed in reputed mainstream Corporates and to provide opportunities to the needy without any discrimination of Caste, Community and Creed.
Akhanda Srinivas Murti, MLA of Kartnataka Assembly, was the Chief Guest at the event. He was quite pleased to see the arrangements at the Job Fair venue and commended efforts of Presidency Foundation & AMP for providing job opportunities to the youth. He said “The Job Fair is doing a great service to humanity by providing much needed job opportunities to the needy youth of Karnataka.”
Mrs. Kausar w/o Nissar Ahmed, Founder & Chairman of Presidency Group of Institutions and the driving force behind the Job fair was quite happy that the Job Fair was helping needy youths to support their families through the job opportunities provided. She applauded the Presidency Foundation and AMP teams for successfully organising the Job Fair.
Salman Ahmed, Vice President – Presidency Foundation said “When AMP approached us for the job fair to be organised in Bengaluru, we immediately agreed to be the partner. This was an excellent way to help unemployed youth and at the same time improve the atmosphere for Communal amity and brotherhood.”
Dr Zahida Khan, AMP National Co-odination Team (NCT) Head, who is based out of Bengaluru, was pleased to host the Job Fair along with the local chapter team. She catalysed the AMP Chapter team members & the volunteers to carry out each task for the job fair in an efficient manner, leading to the great success.
Nazir Ahmed, prominent AMP Bengaluru Chapter Member and the Chief Architect of the Job Fair was quite elated that his efforts bore fruit. He mentioned that at the AMP National Executive meet it was decided to hold Job Fairs in all the major cities so the jobless youth are benefitted. He took up the challenge for Bengalauru and applauded the Chapter team support for the arrangement of the Job Fair.
Abdul Razak, Head of Projects, AMP said “Association of Muslim Professionals believes that transformation can be brought in the society through Educational and Economic Empowerment. We have done more than 55 Job fairs all over the Country to empower the youth, so they can contribute significantly to the Nation’s growth story.”
Shahid Haider, Head – AMP Employment Assistance Cell (EAC) said “One of the objectives of AMP Employment Cell is to provide Job opportunities to youth and help in making them self-sufficient. Our job fair are open to candidates from all Castes, Creed and Communities, without any bar. So far we have been able to provide jobs to more than 35,000 youths all over India.”
The event was backed by very strong support from AMP Employment Assistance Cell (EAC), the local AMP Chapter team members, Presidency Foundation, Karnatak Public School, and their entire team of volunteers who helped in Registration, Screening, Corporate & Queue Management. The Police personnel managed the crowd and traffic admirably.
