P. Jurapas Assumes Presidency for 4th World Meet 2024 to be Held on 8th May 2024 in Bangkok, With More than 50 Countries in Participation
Bangkok: In a momentous event at the International Headquarters of World Meet in Bangkok today, P. Jurapas has been officially appointed as the President for the upcoming 4th World Meet scheduled to be held on May 8, 2024, at the prestigious Royal Rattnakoshin Hotel in Bangkok. M.A. Ali, the Director of World Meet 2024, anticipates a remarkable increase in global participation, aiming for over 50 countries to join this prestigious international awards and martial arts extravaganza.
Last year’s 32-country turnout set a solid foundation for the future, and M.A. Ali expressed his enthusiasm for the growing interest in the event. “This year, we are expecting more than 50 countries to participate, showcasing the universal appeal and significance of World Meet,” stated Ali during the announcement.
The grand ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including His Majesty Drs. R.H Sany Waijaya Nataksuma SH of Pajajran Siliwangi Nusantara Land of Indonesia. His Majesty, who served as the chief guest at the 3rd World Meet in 2023, conveyed his best wishes for the continued success of this global celebration of martial arts.
In a strategic move, Tony Taylor of the United States of America and Jun Shindo of Japan have been appointed as Vice Presidents, bringing together diverse expertise to the leadership team. Shahid Mehmood from the United Kingdom will serve as the General Secretary of World Meet 2024, contributing to the efficient organization and coordination of this international spectacle.
