Kolkata: Khan Biryani has reopened near Nizam restaurant in New Market, but Shamshad Nawazish Khan, who is running Khan Biryani, is living in fear. She has written a letter to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for help.
There is a dispute going on regarding the ownership of Khan Biryani. Shamshad Nawazish Khan has taken this shop on lease. She allege that she is being pressurized to vacate the shop even before the lease expires. There has been an uproar several times. She is being threatened. She has also been attacked. Whose report she has lodged with the police.
Shamshad Nawazish Khan said that after the intervention of the police, she has opened her shop, but she is not getting proper help from the local police. Even today some people have threatened her. She said that efforts are being made to defame her on social media. She is said to be a resident of Mumbai. While she is the daughter of Bengal. This is her home.
Shamshad Nawazish Khan said that she has written a letter to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee requesting her for help. The Chief Minister is also a woman, she can understand her pain.
