Kolkata: The festival of Bakrid is being celebrated across the country. In Bakrid, Muslims sacrifice animals according to their faith. During Bakrid, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation has taken special care of cleaning especially the Muslim areas of the city. For which international karate coach and champion MA Ali has thanked Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim and Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
MA Ali said that it is rainy season. Due to Bakrid in this season, there was a possibility of dirt in Muslim areas, but Kolkata Municipal Corporation proved all the apprehensions wrong. Employees of Kolkata Municipal Corporation are engaged in cleaning work day and night. For which they deserves congratulations.
MA Ali said that on the occasion of Bakrid, a message has also been received from Kolkata Municipal Corporation’s special cleanliness drive that TMC-led Kolkata Municipal Corporation Board is present at all times to serve the people of the city. For this, we are grateful and thankful to Kolkata Municipal Corporation and Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim.
