World Meet-2023 Wraps Up in Style in Thailand, India Wins Gold

Bangkok: World Meet-2023 in Thailand has come to a magnificent close, leaving behind a trail of extraordinary achievements, cultural splendor, and diplomatic harmony. The event, organized by the World Martial Artist Council, was inaugurated with great pomp and honor by King His Majesty Drs. R.H Sany Waijaya Nataksuma SH and Her Majesty The Queen Ully Sigar Rusady of Pajajran Siliwangi Nusantara Land of Indonesia, making it a truly royal affair.

The highlight of the event was the exceptional talent showcased by the participants. Ishan Kamble from Madhya Pradesh clinched the gold, demonstrating outstanding martial arts  prowess.

Humairah Shami, a 10th-grade student from Anjumans Girls High School, joined the ranks of gold medalists, showcasing her exceptional skills.

Adding to the impressive list, Md. Ali Waris, a fifth-grade student from St. Augustin Day School, and Suraj Molla, whose father works in a tea stall, also secured gold medals in their respective categories. Erum Seraj and Md Ali Waris, both received the Black Belt. The medals were graciously presented by the King, His Majesty Drs. R.H Sany Waijaya Nataksuma SH, adding to the honor of the moment.

The cultural diversity of the event was on full display, with Indonesia’s vibrant cultural dance performance sponsored by the Indonesian government, and a mesmerizing Thai cultural dance presented by the royal family of Thailand. Attendees welcomed King His Majesty Drs. R.H Sany Waijaya Nataksuma SH and Her Majesty The Queen Ully Sigar Rusady of Pajajran Siliwangi with resounding applause, rising to their feet in a show of respect and admiration upon their arrival.

Director M.A. Ali shared that he received offers from countries such as Korea, Japan, Indonesia, and the UAE to organize future events, hinting at the global recognition and appeal of World Meet. The host for the next event is yet to be decided, promising more exciting international gatherings in the future.

The event witnessed the presence of several Thai government officials, who extended their blessings and support to the participants. The royal family of Thailand, in a heartfelt gesture, blessed the athletes and attendees, reinforcing the spirit of unity and harmony.

Chairman Tony Taylor of the USA and Director M.A. Ali of India both stressed the importance of global peace, while 32 countries participated wholeheartedly in this remarkable event. Ayesha Noor was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award, acknowledging her outstanding contributions.

In a touching moment, King His Majesty Drs. R.H Sany Waijaya Nataksuma SH presented Director M.A. Ali with the badge of the Royal Kingdom, a symbol of respect and appreciation. President P. Jurapas of Thailand and Vice President Jun Shindo of Japan were also honored with Best Ambassador Awards, emphasizing the event’s overarching message of global peace and cooperation.

World Meet-2023, Thailand, has not only celebrated martial arts but also brought nations closer through cultural exchanges and diplomatic dialogues, leaving an indelible mark on the world stage. As the event concludes, the legacy of unity, talent, and diplomacy it leaves behind is sure to resonate for years to come.
