635+ Candidates shortlisted & selected in a Mega Job Fair organized successfully by AMP in association with Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) and Galaxy Group

Delhi: AMP in association with Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) & Galaxy Group hosted a mega Job Fair on Monday, 12th June at their Campus. This Job Fair was a part of their Jashn-e- Bahara celebrations. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of MANUU, Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan inaugurated the Job Fair at 10:30am to start the proceedings, which was attended by other eminent personalities, including, Prof. Syed Alim Ashraf Jaisi and Prof. Salauddin.

Top Corporates from Banking & Finance, IT, Automotive, Telecom, BPO, Retail, Fashion, Facilities Management, Engineering, Computer Science and many other sectors participated in the Job Fair. There were approximately 80 reputed corporates, 1700+ candidate registrations for the event and 635+ shortlisted and selected candidates online and offline for further round of interviews. There were 157 open positions with total of 6,300+ vacancies.

Additionally, for the first time there were Virtual Interviews held alongside to have a greater outreach where 6 national and multi-national companies participated with good number of vacancies for the student of B.Tech, M.Tech of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, IT and other streams. There were around 50 candidates selected and shortlisted in this format for the final round of interview.

Shahid Haider, Head – AMP Employment Assistance Cell said “One of our objectives is to provide Job opportunities to needy youth and help in making them self-sufficient and thus contribute to Nation Building. We have already organised  78 Job Fairs and 650+ Job Drives all across India and in the process helped place 40,000+ candidates in various Corporates till date.”
