Indonesian government and royal family honoured International Karate Coach and Champion MA Ali

Kolkata: India is not only a country of players like Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar, Sania Mirza, Major Dhyan Chand, Saina Nehwal, Babita Phogat, Mary Kom, but there are also many such stars here who, due to government disregard, are Have disappeared from sight. The biggest name among these is international karate coach and champion MA Ali. Who has been a victim of government disregard and indifference throughout his career. Due to which despite winning the title of Karate World Champion, most of the people of the country do not know much about MA Ali. But today the same MA Ali is making noise in foreign countries. The world is honouring him.

During the World Meet held in Bangkok on September 20, MA Ali was honoured by the Government of Indonesia and its royal family. King of Indonesia Drs. R.H. Sani Waijaya Nataksuma SH honoured him with the prestigious World’s Best Ambassador Award. Her Majesty Queen Ully Sigar Rusadi presented him with a royal medal and also made him wear a royal turban. Also gave him special gifts. Representatives of different countries who participated in the programme also appreciated MA Ali’s achievements and presented him gifts.

Let us tell you that World Meet Thailand is being organized under the supervision of MA Ali for the last three years. He is the director of the World Meet Thailand Organizing Committee. The whole world is praising his ability. For the last three years, the World Meet is being organized in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. But seeing the tremendous success of the martial arts competition and international award distribution ceremony, some countries have expressed their desire to organize the world meet in their countries. Indonesia, Japan and South Korea have proposed that the World Meet be organized in their country next year, while Thailand says that the World Meet should always be organized there. Regarding this, MA Ali said that we are discussing about the venue of the World Meet in 2024. The country in which the World Meet will be organized next year will be announced after 45 days.

It is worth noting that even though the Indian government is not giving proper respect to MA Ali, he is a superstar outside India. A few days ago the Indonesian government honoured him. Before that, in 2017, the US government honoured him with the Hero of Gender Equality and Upwards Achievers Award. In 2019, he was given the Life Time Achievement Award in Thailand. Recently, Bangladesh’s leading English daily The Daily Global Nation has announced the appointment of MA Ali as its international advisor. Also UK’s A1 Global TV  has honoured him life Representative of India. Apart from this, he has received hundreds of awards from various non-governmental, social, sports, educational and literary organizations and media houses. However, MA Ali says that he gets more happiness from seeing smiles on people’s faces than getting awards. What made him most happy was seeing people smiling happily during the closing ceremony of the World Meet 2023. This is the biggest reward for me. MA Ali said that he wants there to be peace and harmony in the entire world. The purpose of organizing the World Meet is world peace.

After becoming Karate World Champion, MA Ali has made it the goal of his life to teach karate to people for free. Till now he has taught karate to thousands of people for free. His disciples are present all over the world.
