It’s not Hijab, it’s a fight to save the Constitution: MA Ali

Kolkata: Voices are being raised across the country against the BJP government of Karnataka trying to ban wearing of hijab in educational institutions. The Hindutva organization and their supporters are demanding a ban on hijab. Against which the secular society of India has come out on the streets. International karate coach and champion MA Ali has also strongly criticized the attempt to ban on hijab.

M.A Ali said that the Constitution gave equal right to all of us Indians to wear clothes of our choice. No one can force anyone to wear the clothes of their choice.

The international coach and champion said that it is not a hijab, but a fight to save the constitution. Under the guise of hijab, an attempt is being made to divide the country in the name of Hindu-Muslim.

MA Ali said that thousands of girls take training in our karate class. They wears clothes of their choice. Some come wearing a sari and some wear a hijab. We have no right to impose our choices on anyone.

He said that in reality our society does not like to see girls moving forward. So they tries to impose their choice on them. This mentality has to end. Will have to fight for it. You have to protect yourself. For that, every girl should learn karate, so that she does not let anyone dominate herself.

MA Ali said that I have been teaching karate to girls for free for years. I wish that girls not only achieve their position in the society, but they should also be physically strong so that they do not have to depend on anyone.

  1. I protest strongly against those who are trying to ban Hijab. A denial of the Constitution must be a punishable offense and a crime of the first order.
