Kolkata Gears Up to Commemorate Birthday of Hazrat Imam Hossain, Grandson of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad
Special Correspondent: Kolkata prepares to commemorate the birthday of Hazrat Imam Hossain, the grandson of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad.
Celebrations for Hazrat Imam Hossain’s birthday are set to take place worldwide. In Kolkata, festivities will begin with a decorated tram procession led by Md Feroz, departing from Nona Pukur Tram Depot near Elliot Road at 10 am. Additionally, a peace procession, organized under the leadership of Amin Ansari, will commence from Mitha Talao in Metiabruz.
The day’s events will include the distribution of langar, sweets, and sharbat at Munshi Talao, followed by a Qawwali performance in the evening.
