Seven karate girls from Kolkata may not be able to participate in the Bangkok World Meet this time due to financial crunch

Kolkata: Someone has rightly said that money is not God, but I swear God that money is no less than God. These days the same thought is circling the hearts and minds of seven Kolkata girls Ayesha Noor, Monimala Halder, Erum Seraj, Shina Faiyaz, Omme Ruman, Humaira Shami and Sufia Khatoon.

Because God has given a lot of talent to these girls, but has not given them wealth. Because of which these seven girls may not be able to participate in the World Meet this year. World Meet is the biggest competition of martial arts in the world.

Let us tell you that every year on September 20, the world’s biggest martial arts competition is held in Bangkok. Last year, six of these seven girls participated in the World Meet 2022 and won medals for India by defeating the world’s top fighters. Based on their talent, these girls have been selected once again in the World Meet 2023, but the financial condition of the family of these girls is not such that they can go to Bangkok to participate in the World Meet.

Ayesha Noor, Monimala Halder, Erum Seraj, Shina Faiyaz, Omme Ruman, Humaira Shami and Sufiya Khatoon have been taking Full Contact Karate training from international karate coach and champion MA Ali at Ramlila Park, Kolkata for the past several years. Of these, Ayesha Noor and Monimala Haldar have won many competitions in the country and abroad. All the seven girls are from very poor families. Last year, by asking people, they somehow made arrangements to participate in the World Meet. But it is not possible to do this every year. That’s why these talented karate players may not be able to represent their country in the World Meet this time.

Ayesha Noor, Monimala Halder, Erum Seraj, Shina Faiyaz, Omme Ruman, Humaira Shami and Sufiya Khatoon says that they feels ashamed to ask money from people. It doesn’t seem right to ask people for money again and again. Some people even start thinking in the wrong way. Now our last hope is from Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. If Didi gives us financial help, then this time also we will win a medal for the country in the World Meet. We hope that our dear Mamata Didi will definitely help us.
