Ayesha Noor’s question on Hijab issue: Does any religion allow women to show their body

Kolkata: The attack on the hijab by the BJP government of Karnataka and Hindutva organizations has created a new controversy. RSS supported Hindutva organizations are demanding a ban on the Hijab. At the same time, there are many people in the country, who are condemning this act of BJP. Amidst all this, Karate world champion Ayesha Noor has asked whether any religion allows women to show their body.

Ayesha Noor, who has been awarded the Hero of Gender Equality Award by the US government, said that most of the teachers of missionary schools are of Christian religion and they teach children wearing scarves (hijab) on their heads. Then why does no one raise the voice that we do not have to study from the teacher who tied the scarf on the head.

Ayesha Noor said that every religion in the world teaches women to cover their bodies well. Whether it is Hinduism or Sikhism or Christianity, in every religion of the world, women have been taught to cover their heads. That’s why in India, women of Hindu religion put Aanchal on their heads. Some Muslim women wear burqa while some prefer to wear hijab. Sikh women also put a Dupatta over their heads. No one should have any objection to this.

Ayesha Noor, an icon of millions of girls, has given a message to the women, saying that they should not come under any kind of pressure. The Constitution of India has given everyone the right to wear clothes of their choice. Don’t change your outfit under someone’s pressure. Muslim girls wear hijab of their own free will. They does not wear hijab under any pressure. Therefore, preventing them from wearing the hijab is illegal and unconstitutional.
