Humaira’s life is going through a lot of difficulty even after winning Silver medal in the Karate World Championship.

Kolkata: Humaira of Kolkata was also included in the Indian team which brought laurels to India by winning medals in the Karate World Championship. Humaira Shami is a class 10 student at Anjuman Girls’ High School in Kolkata.

Today was the annual sports day programme of the school. Where Humaira presented a karate show. Seeing Humaira’s astonishing feat, all the people present in the ground were stunned. On this occasion, Humaira was honoured by Anjuman Girls High School. Local Councilor and MMIC of Kolkata Corporation Amiruddin Bobby honoured Humaira with his own hands.

Let us tell you that in September last year, the Karate World Championship “World Meet 2022” was organized in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. In which the Indian karate team under the supervision of international karate coach and champion MA Ali and under the leadership of Ayesha Noor participated. The Indian team had performed brilliantly in the Karate World Championship. Especially girls had won many gold and silver medals for India. Humaira of Kolkata was also included among those who won the silver medal.
Humaira Shami is a girl from a very poor family. Somehow she is completing her studies in the midst of financial crisis. She has been taking karate training from MA Ali for the past several years. Despite being an excellent karate player, it was impossible for Humaira to go to Bangkok to appear in the world championship. But seeing her dedication and hard work, the family members somehow arranged the expenses of going to Bangkok, only after which Humaira was able to participate in the World Championship and where she won the silver medal for India.
