Mohammad Ali Waris of St Augustine’s Day School will represent India in the World Championship
Kolkata: The Indian team is in full swing preparing for the Karate World Championship “World Meet” to be held on September 20 in Bangkok. A 26-member team from India will participate in the Karate World Championship. In which the youngest karate player is Mohammad Ali Waris.
Mohammad Ali Waris is a class five student of St. Augustine’s Day School, Kolkata. 11-year-old Mohammad Ali Waris won the medal for the country in the World Championship 2022. This year also he has been selected in the Indian team. As such, Mohammad Ali Waris is the youngest player of the Indian team. But considering his talent, the organizing committee of the World Meet has also announced to give him an international award this year. This award will be given to him by the hands of the King of Indonesia.
Indian karate team coach and former international champion MA Ali said that Mohammad Ali Waris is a very talented player. His future is very bright. He will achieve a lot of success for India in the days to come. MA Ali said that it is very important to encourage Mohammad Ali Waris for his bright future.
